Finding library resources about Aboriginal Peoples in the UofT Libraries catalogue

Finding books and other resources about Canada’s aboriginal peoples in the University of Toronto Libraries catalogue can be a challenge…

From the Library’s homepage (http://www.library.utoronto.ca/oise):

1.  Click on the orange Catalogue tab.

2.  Type in one of the following Library of Congress subject headings:

First Nations
OR
Métis
OR
Inuit
OR
the specific name of an Indigenous Nation (e.g. Dene Thá)

3.  Select “Subject” from the drop-down menu, and search.

4.  On the left hand side of the page, narrow your search by Library to OISE.  Depending on your search, you may need to click on “View More” to see the OISE Library in the list.

5.  If you’re interested in children’s literature, simply select “Children’s Literature” in the Library Location list.
