What drew you to OISE’s program?
The Master of Teaching program not only combines a Masters degree with teacher certification, but also provides students the opportunity to learn from some of the best educators in Canada. In addition to the renowned faculty, the department has an extensive network of practicum schools across nine different school boards in the GTA.

What did you love about the program and/or your professors and peers?
I love all aspects of the program. More importantly, the connections you build with your professors and with your peers are truly irreplaceable. The community-like feel of the program and the extensive support you receive from everyone around you is what makes this program so valuable.

What did you learn about yourself at OISE?
I learned how to challenge myself and take risks during practice teaching. I also learned that making mistakes is not only acceptable, but in fact necessary to my growth and development as a teacher.
