The Women’s Educational Resource Collection (WERC), located on the second floor of the library, includes over 8,000 titles in the area of women’s studies with particular strengths in women and education, feminist studies, and women in development.
Some new additions to this collection include the latest edition of the classic women’s health resource Our Bodies, Ourselves (2011). Completely revised and updated, this book now covers topics including environmental health risks, body image, and local and global activism. (Call Number: WERC 613.04244 o93 2011)
Another exciting new WERC title, Conceiving Citizens: Women and the Politics of Motherhood in Iran (2011), examines modern Iranian politics and society by considering the important role of women’s health and sexuality. (Call Number: WERC 155.64630955082 K19C)
