Featured Activity Kit. Nutrition Bingo for First Nations and Inuit

Nutrition Bingo for First Nations and Inuit (call # C.R. 613.2 N976), published by Health Canada, is an interactive game modeled after the traditional bingo game, but designed for ages 5 years and older to learn about healthy foods in Canada’s Food Guide. Bingo chips illustrating healthy and “junkâ€? foods, as well as First Nations and Inuit foods such as bannock, rabbit, seal and moose are called out, while players match the same foods on their players’ cards. The first to get a straight line, wins a prize!

Drop by the small table next to the Circulation Desk on the Ground Floor of the Library to check it out!
