Decisions Decisions: The Environment (Call # C.R.363.7 D294) is a simulation game designed to introduce science and social studies issues to junior / intermediate level students in the context of a local pollution crisis. As scientists, campaign managers, environmentalists, and economists, students apply what they have learned to make public policy decisions about the environment. They experience the political trade-offs that accompany any course of action.
Some of the topics covered include landfills, recycling, the greenhouse effect, and water pollution.
The kit contains a Teacher’s Guide, a CD-ROM, and 28 “Advisor Briefing Books” (7 copies each of 4 different books).
