We Want to Know…
What Do You Love about The University of Toronto Libraries?
With over 16 million items, large and small libraries covering everything from Aboriginal Studies to Zoology, a dedicated staff with expertise finding information in all of these subject areas, and lots of variety in study space, we think there are plenty of reasons to love the library! The question, though, is why do you love the library?
University of Toronto Libraries invites all current University of Toronto students based on the St. George campus to create a short (45 seconds or less) video telling us what you love about any library on campus. Do you love the study space? The helpful staff? The online resources? Something else? We want to know!
The top two videos will each win an iPod Touch!
Everyone who submits a video will also be entered into a draw for a $25 Aramark gift certificate, which can be used at any Aramark food services location on campus, including the Starbucks at Robarts Library and the Tim Horton’s at Sid’s Southside Café.
Written consent must be obtained from all individuals appearing in the video, and all content must be original. Videos will be judged on creativity, content and cinematography. Finalists will be selected by a panel of library staff and posted online following the close of the contest. The general public will then be invited to vote online to determine the winning videos.
The contest opens February 1, 2010 and closes at 11:59 pm on February 28, 2010. For complete contest rules, judging criteria and how to enter, please go to http://www.library.utoronto.ca/ilovethelibrary.
Good luck!
