Library Work Study Positions Available

The library has several work study positions available:

Student Library Ambassadors (2 positions):

The OISE library is looking for energetic, imaginative students to help us with marketing and outreach initiatives. Responsibilities include liaising with students regarding their library needs and priorities, proposing effective means of communicating with the student population (both ITE and graduate level), participating in promotional and outreach activities and representing the library at various campus events.

RE:Search Content Developer (1 position):

The OISE library is looking for a content developer to create discipline-specific content for RE:search, an online tool which helps students learn basic research skills. Content developer will create content related to the field of education.

Scholarly Communication Support (1 position):

OISE is seeking to build a critical mass of content in its T-Space community: https://tspace.library.utoronto.ca/handle/1807/364. We would like a student who can help build up this community’s collection.
Duties:
Liaise with faculty to obtain their publications;
Confirm that publications can be uploaded to repository as per copyright agreements in place;
If necessary, contact publishers to obtain necessary permissions;
Upload publications to T-Space: create detailed and accurate metadata descriptions to accompany the full text.
