Canada and the First World War. Selections from the Ontario Historical Education Collection.

Drop by the OISE Library to view the new selection of books on display from OISE’s Ontario Historical Education Collection. Published in the first few years after the conflict’s end, these materials on the “Great War” range from accounts of the socio-political contexts that led to Canada’s involvement to an historical atlas detailing the changes in political geography from 1914 – 1918. A particularly interesting item is the roll honour of Ontario teachers who fought in the war.

These materials can be viewed in the small display case on the Ground Floor of the Library.
