Art installation “Extra Curricular Curriculum Vitae”

Extra Curricular Curriculum Vitae is an installation and a series of slide-shows featuring discards and detritus from the OISE basement. It will be held on the ground floor of the OISE Library this week. All are welcome!

Extra Curricular Curriculum Vitae is the culmination of an artistic intervention within the teacher education program at OISE and produced in conjunction with the Junior/Intermediate Visual Arts Curriculum and Instruction course. Teacher candidates draw on the educational archive and “the course of their lives” to illustrate an incidental curriculum through performative lectures. Topics include: the importance of shoes, experiencing allergies to parents, bathroom anxiety and learning through the nose.

  • Installation viewing: Sunday, April 15 – Thursday, April 19
  • Performative lectures:  1:30 – 3:00 pm, Wednesday, April 18
