Having trouble locating an item in the OISE Library?

Having trouble locating an item in the library?  Make sure you’re looking in the right collection!  Unlike most other libraries at the University of Toronto, the OISE Library uses the Dewey Decimal system.  The call numbers in several of our collections (Stacks, WERC, Curriculum Resources, Reference, etc.) range from 001 to 999.  This means that you can find call numbers starting with 300 in all of these collections!

When you check the catalogue record for an item, please remember to record both the location (Stacks, WERC, Modern Languages, etc.) and the call number (025.04 A551E, for example).

Additional information about finding books and other materials in the Library is available here:

Still unable to find what you’re looking for?  Try the sorting shelves located on the Concourse Level, 2nd, and 3rd floors, or visit the Circulation Desk — we’d be happy to help!
