Congratulations to Jenaya Webb, OISE Public Services Librarian!

We are pleased to announce that Jenaya Webb has accepted the position of Public Services Librarian, permanent status stream, at the OISE Library.

Larry P. Alford, Chief Librarian, University of Toronto Libraries, shared the following announcement with library staff:

I am very pleased to announce that Jenaya Webb has been appointed Public Services Librarian, permanent status stream, at the OISE Library following a national search. Jenaya has done terrific work as the Public Services Librarian at OISE on a contract basis since February, 2011 providing reference and access services, offering information literacy instruction and engaging in significant outreach to the OISE community. Jenaya is very interested in emerging technologies and has actively sought ways to apply them in her work at OISE.  Jenaya holds an MISt from the University of Toronto Faculty of Information.  She also has both a BA and MA in Anthropology from the University of Alberta, with a strong interest in ethnographic research.  Please join me in congratulating Jenaya.
