Featured Activity Kit: Peacemaking skills for little kids

Start a conversation with young children about peacemaking with this week’s featured activity kit, Peacemaking Skills for Little Kids, grade 2 C.R. 303.69 P355. The kit includes an “I Care” hand puppet, a teacher’s guide and five copies of an activity book,  a poster, and an audio cassette filled with songs. Teachers can use suggested activities and music to promote important social skills such as cooperation, sharing, and listening. The OISE library also has a similar kit for grade 1.
