Our Mission

Our goal is to promote discussions, share resources and collaborate with educators, teachers and administrators from all over the world who share the belief that ethnic, linguistic, religious, cultural and gender diversity in our classrooms will enhance the learning for all students. We invite you to peruse our material, share resources and comment on different components of our website. We look forward to hearing from you!

Explore the Diversity in Teaching site to find out more about events, projects, and resources related to teaching diverse learners and diversifying the teaching force. There are numerous ways to become involved.  Consider submitting a profile to the DiT Community, letting others know about an upcoming conference or workshop, sharing resources, reacting to some of the videos or responding to one of our surveys.

Funding

Seed money for this website was provided by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada as part of an International Opportunities Fund Grant.
