In her third year of undergraduate studies in Global Health and Education at the University of Toronto, Ayesha is passionate about exploring the role of education as a social determinant of health. Since 2018, she has been exploring her intellectual curiosity about the development of English literacy in second language learners by working as an ESL instructor with the United Nations Volunteer Programme. Ayesha’s recent and continuing research experiences include projects on global education reformism and on promoting girls in STEAM education at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy.
