A graduate of Ryerson University’s Journalism program, Zachary Pedersen is interested in communicating stories and ideas through text, photo and video. Drawn to The Robertson Program by the opportunity to help tell the story behind its unique spatial reasoning math research in Northern Ontario, Zach has been a part of the program for more than six years now. In that time, he has created teacher- and child-focused educational resources and content for the program, as well as The Dr. Eric Jackman Institute of Child Study. More recently, he has begun focusing on effectively disseminating information and knowledge through online platforms and media. Zach’s prior work experience includes documentary filmmaking, non-profit communications, corporate blogging for the Royal Bank of Canada, and working as an editor/videographer at Thomson Reuters.
