Bisman Kaur is a fifth year undergraduate student at the University of Toronto pursuing an English Specialist and Mathematics Major. She is an aspiring teacher who is passionate about advocating for equity in education. In 2021, Bisman was a volunteer tutor with Frontier College, where she had the opportunity to provide learning support to students who faced barriers in the education system. Since then, she has continued to gain teaching experience as a mathematics tutor in various settings. In her future classroom, she hopes to foster a safe and welcoming learning environment where she can share her passion for learning with students.
